Herbal Apple Cider Vinegar Rinse Concentrate for Dogs
Pine’s Potion is a slow-infused herbal rinse made by steeping skin-supportive herbs in raw apple cider vinegar for several weeks.
Calendula, plantain, nettle, marshmallow root, chamomile, lavender, and rosemary are traditionally used to help calm irritated skin and support the coat and skin barrier.
Raw apple cider vinegar adds another layer of support. Its natural acidity helps maintain the skin’s protective barrier while supporting a balanced skin microbiome — something that can be easily disrupted by frequent washing, harsh shampoos, and overly sterile grooming routines.
Dogs that live active lives outdoors naturally encounter dirt, insects, pollen, and changing environments. Rather than constantly stripping the skin with lathering soaps, many dog parents prefer a simpler approach: rinsing with water and following with a nourishing botanical preparation that supports the skin’s own resilience.
Pine’s Potion is designed for exactly that purpose.
The herbs are slowly infused into raw apple cider vinegar, creating a botanical concentrate that can be diluted with water and applied directly to the coat and skin as part of a gentle rinse routine.
Simple ingredients. Traditional preparation. No synthetics, preservatives, or unnecessary additives.
For dilution guidance, skin microbiome philosophy, and frequently asked questions, visit the full Pine’s Potion guide page.
Directions for Use:
Dilute Pine’s Potion with water at a ratio of 1:5 to 1:10. (Porch Wolf Rinse Applicator Bottle)
Apply to the coat and skin after bathing or outdoor adventures.
Allow to air dry or gently towel dry. No rinsing required.
For external use only.
*Can also be diluted for use as an herbal spray mist between rinses, paw wash/soak.
Full instructions, dilution guidance, and skin microbiome philosophy are available on the Pine’s Potion guide page.

Pine’s Potion began as a botanical rinse made with apple cider vinegar and calming herbs.
This dry infusion blend offers a gentler option for dogs with sensitive, irritated, or open skin, allowing you to brew the herbs and add apple cider vinegar only if desired.
Traditionally used herbs like calendula, plantain, marshmallow root, and nettle help soothe and support healthy skin.
